Released on July 28th, 2017, The New Nintendo 2DS XL is a technologically-improved remodel of the 2DS handheld. It is the ninth and last redesign of the Nintendo DS line, The console is much larger than the original 2DS model and adds all the features of the updated 'New 3DS' line of systems, minus the ability to play games in 3D on the top screen.
