Here’s a listing of the systems thermal cables:
As you can see the cables are physically different! This can be the length of the cable as well as the header. You really should use the correct cables for either the LCD and Optical drive. The HDD is a more difficult issue as it depends on what your drive is.
Does the system still have its original drive or was it upgraded? Many of the current generation of drives don’t have the needed header to even plug in the sensor cable in (SSD’s) and if you do need to be careful on what the drives specs are as your system only has SATA II (3.0 Gb/s) ports so you need to stick with either a SATA II fixed speed drive or an auto sensing drive (one that is able to adjust its data flow to match your systems I/O limitation.
To make things easier I would recommend just getting this thermal sensor OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac Late 2009 - Mid 2010 Hard Drive Upgrade it will fit any HDD or SSD allowing the systems thermal system (SMC) to work correctly.

The part:
* LCD Temp Sensor cable - Apple P/N 922-9497, - is a display port for the screen and not a LCD Temp Sensor, so I got confused
If I want a sensor for the screen, show which cable should I get?
922-9624 - will work with the SSD?
I'm building a custom iMac
Sorry!
The LCD Temp Sensor cable is #922-9623 and DisplayPort Cable is 922-9497
Use the OWC cable for your SSD
thank you so much
@baksimcha - If you're set don't forget to score the answer and accept it and answered. Thanks!
