Why is my new battery not charging after install

I also had a sort kind of issue like this. I was required to disassembly my phone again, disconnected the battery and screen, after this, reconnected it again and tested it while the phone was still open, suddenly it worked. Assembled it again and everything was fine afterwards. But it’s still possible that you have a bad battery again. And also check your lightning (charge) port again, this could also be broken if it’s not charging at all. And when you disassembly your phone again, please check if all the cables are still ok and not damaged or ripped.
