Where does this part go?
Hi all,
Trying to reassemble my wife’s iPhone 5S, I’ve got an extra part. Where does this tiny thing go? And is it really necessary?

That comes from the proximity sensor on the front camera ribbon cable assembly. You should place it back on there as it’s like a cover that goes on top of the sensor.
