Bottom inch of touch screen is acting funny.

So i have a surface book that is having a few touch screen oddities. the bottom inch /inch and half of the touch screen is acting odd. Touches that start in that reason do not register, but if you move into the area a good distance into it do register.

Here is the spiral from the diagnostic. I know i say bottom, but the area is at the top. I did this part of the diagnostic with the clipboard upside done. to old the charger easier. The blue is the direction i was moving my finger.

Also when in the UEFI the touch screen doesn’t work at all. I’m not sure if the touch screen needs to be replaced, or if this is a firmware issue.

Anyone have any ideas?

Should point out that the pen does work everywhere.
