12 Core update kit installed now fans are on full blast

I just installed a 12 core CPU upgrade kit in a Mac Pro 2010, and now the fans come on full blast. Everything is installed correctly, and I’m at a loss here. Does anyone have any idea how to calibrate these new CPU’s, or is there something I’m not doing? ASD 3S143 doesn’t have processor calibration ability as I’ve already looked there. Please don’t suggest an SMC or PRAM reset, or any kind of fan control software, because none of those work.

@danj On the previous generation there was fan syncing software on the original installation disk but I've FORGOTTEN HOW TO ACCESS IT.

I think the issue might be related to the fact that a quad core processor board was being used on this 2010 Mac Pro from a 2009 Mac Pro. The processors were recognized, but I think the fact that the processor board was a year older was the culprit that was contributing to the “fans on full” results. I think that a 2010 Mac Pro needs a 2010 Processor board. The 2009 boards fit, but obviously they are not compatible. They would need to be calibrated, and as far as I know, that capability went away with the G5.

The supplier of the CPU kit probably has your answer, I would contact them. Please share your results.

UPDATE 2/18/20

Been studying on this as I am about to do one. It can be caused by the heat sink not properly coming into contact with the processors. So I am looking into delidding the GPUs with this tool:
