Does the new model use the same Adhesive Strips as the 2017 21.5 inch?

Apple has been known to make small changes that don’t seem to do anything other than required a slightly different piece. Does the new model use the same adhesive strip as the previous?

Make sure you don't cover the microphone which is now on the bottom edge of the glass. Look for the cut slot in the frame.
