iPhone 8 plus faulty screen

Hi, i have a problem with my iphone 8 plus. Some time ago i accidently did hit the phones screen, not hard but it caused that it’s screen stopped working(The screen itself started flashing, then there was just half of it and it went black). I’ve checked if the flex cables are in place they seemed okay and nothing happened after that. I forgot about it and then today I did think of charging it as i reminded myself that the battery shouldn’t go to 0%. There are two white stripes on the screen aswell as in the right upper corner of it as u can see from the photo. Is it most likely to be faulty screen? or something else could get damaged?
