ERROR 29 when updating ios with APN 616-0435

I have 3gs old bootrom, and somebody changed battery before i bought it, i got error 29 on update to 4.1 to 4.3.1 or 4.3.3,

Than i put the APN 616-0435 battery and again the same problem, i dont know what was old APN on the battery, can you please help me, anybody, i have tryed everything.

When i use redsnow and kick it from restore it restarts every 2-3 minutes, doesnt recharge when connected to usb port, only when the phone is off and connected to a wall charger

i'd purchase another battery from another dealer and see what happens. this IS a common problem with batteries and 3gs iphone. check out the feedback on wherever you purchase from first to make sure that it's likely to be a good replacement part.

Thank you for the answer, but i can't be shure anything any more, i can't afford throwing away any more money on batteries, if i only knew which battery was inside originaly...

just downgrade your 3gs and everything will go back to normal (i had exactely the same issue - old bootrom, 3gs, APN 616-0435 and 4.3.3
