Screen Turns off when I fold open the screen past 90 degrees!

Ive had my Macbook Pro for about 2years now, but 2 months ago, my roommate showed me that for some reason, when the screen was opened either too fast or too far, the screen would dim and black immediately. Eventually after some careful maneuvering, i managed to reach the toolbar, and adjust my screen settings. Ive tried every surface level solution to fixing it internally, but despite so the screen fails to stay active, even when its slightly adjusted or nudged. Pls let me know if this is a fixable issue

thx

We need to know exactly which machine you have. Please go here and enter your serial number from the back of the machine, then tell us what you have:

Without knowing exactly which device you have, I can only guess that it could possibly be a failing and/or pinched LVDS cable. On most models the LVDS cable can be replaced.
