Camera turns on but cannot do anything. It is frozen.

I have a DMC FZ35. At unpredictable times the camera freezes. I can see through viewfinder and can switch between record and playback but no other buttons are responsive except the On/Off switch. Then minutes, hours or days later, the camera starts working normally again. Totally random.
