Why is my panasonic cordless KX-TG3683 dropping voice in 3-4 min?

My 2 year old phone just started dropping my voice or the voice of the person called after 3-4 minutes. I have installed a DSL filter in the line - no change. I changed the Basic Talk box - no change. I have a new Netgear AC1200 smart nighthawk router.
