The weird thing is when I play youtube video or any video on my mac, the red glitch disappears. =.=

Heres the video

I already tried connecting to an external monitor, and the results are good. I did not find the issue on the external monitor or on my mac screen. So I'm pretty sure this isn't damaged from VGA.

I already tried reseting the NVRAM and SMC, reinstalling the os, update the os, removing and reassemble LCD and flexible cable, nothing gave me the clue. Still the same. The red glitch still shows up in my mac screen.

I've used this laptop for at least 3.5 years btw :)

Have you ever experienced with this, then what should be done ? should I replace the display LCD ?

To be clear, when you are using an external monitor the internal monitor won't glitch and the external never shows the problem.

Yes, it is. when using an external monitor, external monitor screen and internal monitor(sreen on mac) never show the red glitch.

Have you ever had the same problem ??

Your logic board has a problem within the Mux logic. Basically the video signal is sent to one of three outputs! The internal, HDMI as well as both Thunderbolt ports. I’m suspecting the HDMI port is not engaging the load when the port is not being used so you are seeing a signal reflection interfering with the output.

To test this plug in an HDMI cable by its self, I bet you’ll see the internal display will not have any problems.

Update (07/22/2019)

You might be able to find someone with the deeper skills and the needed tools to fix your logic board. Otherwise replacing the logic board is your only option MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement

Thanks for the answer Dan.

I have tried plug in an HDMI cable by its self, but the internal display still has same problem. It works if I plug in HDMI cable into an external monitor with no power on. So yeah still need external monitors.

Today I found something again, if I open a heavy website or download something, the internal monitors back to normal. But when the web / file I downloaded was finished, the problem will come back again.

So about the mux logic, if I want to fix it do I must replace the whole of logic board?

Guess your cable is one of the better ones ;-} Most of the time there's enough load by its self.
