Poor Connection Between Phone & Gearfit 2/ Gearfit 2 & Charger

I have a semi-broken Samsung Gearfit 2.

Samsung won't repair it as it's not a European model (bought on Amazon) and I can't find anyone local with the know-how to fix it.

It has difficulties connecting in general:

  • there are no notifications from phone to the watch unless I reconnect the phone multiple times a day!
  • it no longer picks up heartbeat
  • it doesn't transmit data from the watch to the phone at all, even after reconnecting the 2
  • it has also always had a dodgy connection to charger

I’m sure there must be a sensor somewhere needing replaced but I have no technical know-how whatsoever. Can this be repaired or do I need a new watch?
