backstory on iPhone: I dropped my phone a few weeks back and the screen smashed and touch stopped working I was using another phone as a replacement and let the broken phone die when I tried to charge it to turn it on there was no sign of life not even red battery logo. I have just changed the screen and battery and the phone will not turn on.

Does the phone have the same symptoms with the original screen and battery? If so, then it may be a logic board issue that was caused by the drop.

If you only have a screen problem, you should be able to turn on the phone and use the mute switch a few times to see if the phone vibrates.
