Verizon CDMA Logicboard in a Tracfone iPhone SE?
Hi,
So I really like the SE and have no desire to upgrade, however my current SE is in rough shape. Due to the disappearance of high quality replacement screens, I am stuck with the cheap screens that seem to do as they please, which is very irritating. That, in addition to the usual wear and tear on the frame, I would really like to just buy a new SE. My phone is a 128g Verizon phone with no internal problems or water damage, so I was originally planning on getting a cheap refurbished 16g phone on amazon and just swapping the logic board over. However, today the package delivered today ended up being a pink iPhone 6s. So I promptly returned it and was going to simply reorder another one, but while looking on amazon, I found a brand new never opened SE for only $140, only catch is that it is a Tracfone… So my question is are there any differences I would have issues with when swapping a Verizon logic board into a Tracfone? It is also worth adding that I have built a few SE’s from the ground up for fun so I am not concerned about the swap, given that the Tracfone doesn’t have any surprises. So if anyone knows anything about these Tracfone’s it would be greatly appreciated, I don’t think they would accept a return if I immediately took it apart.
