Motherboard shorted to ground. Can this be fixed?
The larger H8313 mosfet on my 1st phase of the 12v rail took a surge. It blew out some of the solder mask on the top/bottom of the board. The entire 1st phase reads .2 ohm resistance and the entire general area is shorted to ground.
It appears the surge managed to short on the motherboard and not the mosfet or lower IC chip as previously believed.
Can this be fixed? If yes, please inform me!
Thanks for reading
Everything highlighted in red reads .2 ohm. Short stops 1 smd cap before where my multimeter probe is touching
Is this a good question?
