Part of the backlight of my LG 34UC98G goes off

Hi,

For a few times now, I’ve had part of the backlight of my ultrawide LG 34UC98G go off, which turns part of the screen darker, in two places.

I’ve tried to open the display to try and check what might be wrong, but so far I haven’t even been able to remove the back of the screen. There’s almost nothing visible that would hold everything together, so I’m assuming they are somehow located farther from the border of the screen.

I also tried looking for service/repair manuals for this screen, but couldn’t find anything so far.

Anyone has an idea on how to approach this one?
