After running for about a day, it turns off using internet

I can power up the laptop but within 36 hours or less, it turns off. I think this may be a processor issue. The unit was in a cabinet with low air flow and I think it may have prematurely aged the system

Hi David,

for first, check the Reliability Monitor for more information about unexpected crash of your laptop. If it's without any message to the display, it could be logged in the mentioned log. You can also check the BlueScreenView to see if the issue is not reporting on the screen.

Do you mean it disconnects from the internet but stays powered on or that it switches off?

If it switches off you are running it off mains power aren't you, you didn't say?

Check the laptop's fan vent to make sure that it is not obstructed with dust, impeding the airflow.

If it is you may have to open the laptop and clean the fan as well. If you have to do this then it is also a good time to refresh the thermal paste on the CPU. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do this.
