Stuck in a boot loop

My computer is stuck in a boot loop. As soon as the battery is plugged in the fan turns on, computer chimes, fans stops, fan on, chime, and so on. The screen remains black throughout. I have replaced the logic board, RAM, and battery all without any improvement. Resetting the SMC and PRAM did not make any difference. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the keyboard, plugging the battery in does not start the fan or the chime, however with the cable unplugged I can’t turn on the computer at all. What do I do next?

What happened at the start of this? Did you have a liquid spill? Or drop, bang your system?

Does it work OK without battery? as @danj asked what happened?

The computer was turned off at night, I tried to turn it on the next day and this was the result. No drops or spills that I am aware of. It does not work with the battery disconnected either.

What color is the MagSafe chargers LED Amber or Green? If Ambor let it charger for a good 8 hours did it get to Green?

The charger light did change to green after several hours charging. Boot loop solved with new keyboard, but the screen does not come on at all now.

Since you have the same problem after replacing logic board, which is the Mac heart and brain, it sounds like one of the modular components might be the issue. Disconnect all and everything from the logic board, battery included and plug in the magsafe and you should see the board starting up, unless you have a faulty magsafe or logic board.

If that happens, reconnect components to the board one by one, always disconnect magsafe first. That should be enough to pinpoint what’s preventing normal functioning.

Thank you, following your instructions seems to show that the keyboard is the problem. I will report back after installing a new one.

New keyboard solved the boot loop problem. New problem is the screen does not come on at all. Brightness button makes no difference.

Hook it up to an external monitor and let us know what you get.

Worked on external monitor but was very slow to react and kept freezing. After turning the computer off, it will not turn on anymore.

Hooked logic board up to an external monitor with with nothing else connected besides RAM and fan and it gave the blinking question mark folder. Connecting either of two hard drives results in it refusing to turn on at all. I know for sure that one of the drives is good.
