I work in a school system and broken off headphone jacks is a reocurring issue, I’ve attempted getting them removed and nothing works well. I just want to know if the part labelef “iPad Mini Headphone Jack Cable” works with every iPad Mini or just the first one

Also to add onto that, we have an item ( GripStick Headphone Plug Extraction Tool ) that a lot of schools buy in bulk to fix this issue. But if you want to fully replace the headphone jack that might be a little intense ( If Im reading this correctly that is)

@camerongio Youre right it is intense, I've had to do it to two different ipads for the same issue, I didnt know this existed! I've tried the method of putting hot glue on the end of a small stick but that didnt work. I'll talk to my bosses and give this a shot!

@Mark Street Yeah no worries i'm in charge of this product internally at ifixit, and most of our customers who buy it is actually school districts. They are really weird to use at first, but once you get the feel of it and learn how it works they are amazing!
