Broken Left Mouse Button?

I was working on my HP laptop and when I pressed on the left clicker button, it felt like something inside broke. Now it doesn’t feel as firm as the right clicker button. It works fine and it’s purely cosmetic although I am wary of using it now. Is there a way I could fix it?
