Auto locking trunk motor not quiting after closure

A lady at the grocery store slammed down my trunk and I think pushed on it while it was automatically screwing down. It will close now but the electric motor is not shutting off. I’m probably going to have to order in a part but I have no idea if I need the lower or upper as both have switch levers. Or could it possibly just need a reset? I could not discern any broken parts. Anyone have a clue?
