Phone won't turn on. Only white notification light is blinking

I was using my moto g5 plus when suddenly everything shut off. it didn’t go to the shutting down screen, it just stopped like it had crashed. My initial thought was that i had deep discharged my battery so far that it couldn’t turn on. After replacing the battery, the phone still doesn’t do anything besides flashing the white notification light when connected to a charger. I’ve already tried the reset options using the power and volume down button but I can’t get the screen to turn on. Is it possible to save the phone after being “bricked”? From researching that seems to be what happened but I am not fully sure. Any suggestions besides sending back to manufacturer would be really appreciated. Thank you.
