AirDrop on my 2010 MacBook Pro?
So, I have the Mid 2010 MBP. I’ve gotten Catalina working on it, using DosDude1’s patcher. In any case, I’d like to get AirDrop2 working. Just doing a bit of research—My MBP uses two separate cards for WiFi and Bluetooth, meaning I can’t upgrade my card to support Bluetooth 4.0, is that right? I’m not really concerned about HandOff, I’d just like to be able to get media from my iPhone quickly. Anyone have any ideas? Would using a Bluetooth USB dongle work?
