How to repair LG 27MD5KA-B (Used for Apple USB-C laptops)

I accidentally used a damaged USB-C cable to connect my MacBook to the monitor and since then the monitor won’t work, it seems to charge my MacBook but dosen’t display. If

Observation: If I unplug the monitor and try using a shorter cable monitor seems to work, if I try to unplug and reconnect it stops working.
