iTunes error 2001 fix on iPhone 3GS

I recently bought an iPhone 3GS white from eBay. When I received it, it needed a new screen. After I put the screen on and turned it on it was passcode locked. Than I connected it to my PC and restored it but got error code iTunes error 2001. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? Thanks for any help!
