iPhone 3GS not able to charge it keeps connecting an disconnecting

i have a problem i have a iphone wall charger when i connect it to the wall charger it connects an keeps disconnecting after every movment the phone makes an now it wont even connect to my computer it says usb dont regonized or anything

first place to check is the dock connector port.. this error message is usually because you have dirt/pocket lint etc blocking your pins from connecting with the USB cord. Use a toothpick or similar to get rid of anything you can see, don't just blindly pick away or you'll cause damage. If that doesn't work then you may need to replace the dock connector.
