Save my iPhone 5s
Hello, Guys.
I apologize for the wall of text.
Anyhow, I own an iPhone 5s. It was working fine. No issues with iCloud or Apple ID, it was genuinely working. One day, the battery was on critical and I was just using it to add a phone contact when it died. You know when the phone dies and when the screen goes black but faintly is on somehow, you then see spinning circle in the middle of the screen, and then it shuts off. After that, I hooked it up to my powerbank (it charges my iPhone 8 fine), waited for a bit, then all of a sudden it was stuck on the Apple logo bootloop of death.
I have tried searching online, using so many different tools, most of them were paid so I honestly just found cracks for them, but no tool helped. I can get the phone into DFU and Recover mode easily. It’s when the firmware is loading that bugs me out. With iTunes, it gives me the “Unable to loading .. . .error 9”. From imazin, to Dr. Fone to imyphone and then 3UTools. Kapoot. I have great sentimental value for the iPhone 5s, this one to be exact, cause it started the touch ID thing for Apple.
I can’t part with this iPhone 5s.
Any ideas? I’m a bit technical, so, I have opened it up and checked it out, all looks good, tried switching the battery; that didn’t work. I saw a post from a member named “Rany” here, he was on to something, like he mentioned opening up the unit, removing the camera, connecting the LCD and something like that. I want to try that but I was not certain what he meant about TOUCH CONNECTORS.
Here’s the link:
I’ve been at this for almost a month and I do not want to spend to repair it.
I don’t trust technicians in our place.

So, after a ton of research, I went a head and open up the unit, disconnect the camera and tried to restore the unit. It actually worked! However, every time I reconnect the camera ribbon, the phone stops working. It goes back to the Apple Logo boot. I must have damaged the ribbon. However, there’s a metal covering that holds the connectors for the LCD and Camera in place. If I don’t have that screwed on, the phone works, if I have it screwed on, it goes back to the boot cycle.
