Powers down halfway through boot up progress bar

I recently replaced the top case on a MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015). The original top case had sticky keys and I believe it was non-functional (I was unable to get it power on with that power button). That being said there is no sign of corrosion or liquid damage internally. I’ve replaced the top case, trackpad, USB-C port, and trackpad flex cable, and now the machine powers on. I can consistently get to the startup manager (Option key on startup) but whenever I try to boot into the internal drive or a drive connected externally the boot progress bar gets about half-way then the machine powers down. I then have to discharge the battery and do an SMC reset to power back on. If I don’t try to boot into any drive I seem to able to power it off and on repeatedly without having to do an SMC reset, so long as I hold Option during boot. Holding D on startup just gives a black backlit screen, PRAM reset took but did not change the situation. This seems to be an SMC related issue that is triggered by trying to boot into an OS. Could this be logic board or battery related? Thank you!

EDIT: I replaced the battery and the issue still occurs. I’m beginning to think there is an issue with the logic board. After each unwanted power crash it requires discharge of battery and SMC reset to allow power on again.

EDIT 2: I was eventually able to run the Apple diagnostic test (‘D’ key on startup) and I got the following result:

There may be an issue with a memory module.

Reference Code: PPM003

This seems to confirm my suspicion that the issue is on the logic board level. Since the memory is integrated into the logic board I think I will need to replace the logic board.
