2020 MacBook Pro color issue when connecting to External Display

I’m having color issues when connecting my 2020 MBP to my Samsung Space Monitor. It connects quickly and shows the images as soon as I plug it in, but there’s a disturbing color shift that happens when I’m not moving the mouse cursor. It shifts to a green tint, and it’s really eye-straining. The shift is very obvious when watching videos on any site especially on full screen. It seems to be OK when i move the mouse cursor around, but shifts again when I stop moving the mouse.

I’ve tried changing the display color settings to different profiles, but it still shifts colors pretty bad.

Also tried turning off True Tone and Night Shift, but still doesn’t work.

I have used the monitor and usb hub combo with my Lenovo Legion Y740 without any issues. The monitor works great.

Hope someone could enlighten me as to what the problem is, and i hope there’s an easy fix.

How are you connecting to it via miniDP or HDMI?

I'm using the HDMI cable that came in the box with my monitor. It runs at 144hz 1440p on my windows laptop just fine.

@geneearl_728 - What happens when you use the mDP connection? Also try a mDP dongle Vs the StayGo USB C Hub. I'm thinking you are fighting a standards issue between your MacBook Pro and the hub.
