Will iMac 2012 27" frame fit to iMac 2013 27"?

Hi there :)

I got iMac 27” 2013 model with damaged aluminium frame (I unable to stick LCD to it it is so bend ) - I can buy iMac 2012 27” frame but seller does not know it if will fit

Will it 100% fit?

You’ll need to check to see which version you have:

  • 2012 27” iMac Rear Housing Unit 5-Hole, Apple P/N 923-0378
  • 2012/2013 27” iMac Rear Housing Unit 9-Hole, Apple P/N 923-0522

and why there is iMac 27 2012 and 2012/2013?

The original case has five holes along the display lip on the chin plate Case front view The second version has nine holes and what used across both the 2012 and 2013 models.

I'm not sure if there are other differences or not.
