I recently changed the screen/digitizer on my ipad and since putting it back together there is a dead spot in the bottom left of my display (portrait). I have replaced it with an iFixit digitzer so didn’t think I needed kapton tape, does anyone know how to fix this issue? I have tried redoing the connection a couple times.

It could be as simple as a defective digitizer or you could’ve cause damage to the connectors. Post some pictures of the digitizer connectors both on the board and the digitizer itself.

yeah everything looks fine to me. You probably have a defective part then. I like to test them before I have everything installed.
