I noticed my left bud stopped working 2-3 days ago and I couldn’t figure out why, until someone told me to hold down the b button. I realized I couldn’t even press the b button on my left earbud. I’m not sure how to fix this, and if this is a simple hardware problem of fixing the button, or a deeper issue? any suggestions?

After having read some stuff on those earphones, this happens quite a lot.
Someone mensioned it happened to them during flights, which make me think it’s a contraction-expansion issue.
If the materials used in the device are not heat resistant, even the repetitive putting it in and out if your ear can make them rigid in the long run.
Also, keep in mind that celebrity-produced products are, in general, overpriced crap. No offence, i get the appeal.
However, you might be better off with a new pair of earphones, as hardware repair on such small devices is difficult and often, not cost-efficient.

I just got these earphones and the left button was stuffed within the first hour.
I already had a pair of mifo 05's and they really never fell out of ears but the sound wasn't the best and I am doing running now so you get that feeling that the are going to fall out but they aren't. so I bought ear hooks and these seemed to be the best although I usually do heaps of research, I guess this time not.
I'm just wondering what to buy, thinking about buying the mifo o5 plus but you seem to have a bit of an idea so I thought I would ask? also the mifos are like $100 so that's good!
Same with mine, left side, stuck right out of the box but worked a little if I tapped it but now nothing
I been having the same exact issue and it only happens to the left ear bud. I just flew to New York and I was watching quite a few movies omw there. But soon as I got off the plane the left button of the ear bud was jammed. And this is the second time it happened to me. I immediately rested my ear phones but it didn’t work. So then I just ended up tapping the case with my earbuds inside of it on knee a few times and the button work!!! I think the problem is caused by pressure in the plane. Not sure

Guys, this is already an older thread but wanted to share my experiences here quickly. I own the Powerbeats Pro and took them with me on skiing vacation. We were driving there (so no flights). The village was on around 1000m height above sea level.
When we drove home, I‘ve noticed the beats button on my right beats pod got stuck. I could not press it down anymore. Then I googled and found this thread.
I thought even though it was not a flight it might be also caused by pressure due to height differences as well.
Solution: It got fixed automatically. I just left my Powerbeats Pro in the charging case for around 5 days or so. Then for whatever reason the button was okay again.
Hope this helps somebody.
I work on beats product’s quite regularly and if buttons get jammed I find that applying isopropyl alcohol to the button then trying to press it or wiggle it about helps:-)
Just got off a two hour flight and the same thing happened. Does it self remedy?
Hi @kathleenla31306 , in my case, yes. I just left them in the case for a couple of days and then the button was working again.
I’ve bought Powerbeats pro twice now, the first time I bought them the right earbud’s “b” button wouldn’t press down and the volume button at the top wouldn’t work either. I ended up returning them to exchange them for a new pair, I’ve just come to realize after a couple hours within my second purchase that the left earbud’s “b” button doesn’t press down, I think I’m done with these earbuds.

and when I try to charge the L earbud, it won't charge either :(

I don't know if this is going to help someone but i managed to unstuck a stuck left button by lifting the button with a small pointy knife. It seems it's working now. How long is to be seen.
