Why is my xbox one powering off randomly?

Hi guys, I am attempting my first console repair (I have already fix some controller, cartridge and handheld system before but this is the first time I am doing something more complexe).

I bought a faulty Xbox One that randomly power off. Sometimes, it can stay on for hours other times just few seconds. If you want to see what it's doing, you can go here : https://youtu.be/MyQFuDit6M0 (at approximately 4 minutes).

I tried some obvious fix like resetting the power supply which didn't work. I would like to know what you would start with. Is there some basic test that I need to do to know where the fault come from or anything else I need to know ?

I have a feeling, the xbox might be overheating, sometimes bad fan, not spinning well to its specification, old thermal paste, etc causes this. check if the vents are blocked too.

First thing I'd try is another power supply if it's not showing the message: this Xbox has shut off due to insufficient ventilation.
