Water is trapped in Retina display, is this beyond repair?
Hey guys- my MacBook Air 2019 got rained on last night. Everything works except there appears to be a significant amount of water inside the screen. (I should mention the actual display works perfectly fine, I just pulled up an all white screen so you can see the water) Is this something I can fix or is this beyond repair and needs a replacement? Thank you!

Hello! I've seen that in some cases on the internet the water evaporates on its own. I just have the same problem and was wondering if it evaporated for you too?

@jazzvega - I wish it was so simple😢
If it where pure water (think distilled like whatever you use for your cloths iron) the sure evaporation might work. But rain water as well as what comes from your tap is not pure! Far from it! This other stuff won’t evaporate, instead leaves a film and some of it is organic! Like molds and algae which will to the mess.
The last issue is a closed container has a much harder time for the liquid to evaporate and the temp is also a factor. So you will need to warm the system a bit to push things along.
