Direkt-tek laptop not working on battery power.

Most of these off-brand laptops are made by Clevo or Sager, but it depends on how gaming oriented it is - the gaming ones are usually Sager while mainstream is usually Clevo.

That looks to be a fairly cheap laptop when it was new based on the specs and free Office 365 subscription. Parts tend to be harder to find for cheap laptops from unknown manufacturers like this one since they’re often not repaired due to parts cost vs buying a whole new machine, and aren’t a regularly sold item. They may claim to sell a lot of these, but they’re usually a disposable affair once they break due to the low purchase cost since many of them are purchased for kids as a basic laptop who wouldn’t know the difference. I can get parts (or unrepairable parts systems) for my retired Haswell business laptop I got used easily because they were popular and so many people bought them, yet I can still get a good deal on the base machine. I don’t get a factory warranty but I’m able to do the repairs myself.

Look up the battery part# and see, but you may be stuck with ordering it direct from China on this laptop due to the fact I’ve never seen one in the wild.
