Ds lite power switch broken

I have a ds lite that i recently opened up, and i realized that the power switch was broken, it powers on but the switch is broken and i need a flat tip screwdriver to power it on and i dont want to desolder it to risk damage to the board

@hithere145 depends on how it is broken. If it is just the slider, you can replace that. Nintendo DS Lite Power Switch Replacement If it is the actual switch, it needs to be replaced and will require soldering. If you don’t think that you cannot manage this task, see if somebody can maybe solder it for you. Remove the board, desolder the old switch and replace it Nintendo DS Lite Motherboard Replacement
