TV suddenly stopped working

My UN65KU6300 Samsung TV suddenly stopped working. There is no power or the red light at all. I have tried most of the methods that are suggested (disconnected power cable, held down the power button for 30 seconds, and plugged again to check for power) but I’m still not getting any power at all. I have no experience on how to fix it, I thought I’d post here if there is anyone with experience that can help me.

Thank you.

@gosu_d first use your multimeter and check the 1.fuse for continuity. No power to the TV (keep it unplugged). Use a multimeter put in on the ohm scale. Then place one probe to the left side and the other probe to the opposite side. If the needle (analog meter) move than you have continuity. A digital meter will show continuity as well. Next test is a bit more complicated since you are going to test a live circuit. Use you multimeter and place it on ACV (250V) scale. Plug your TV in and see if it turn on. Yes/No don’t matter since you will still have power going to the connector on the power board. Careful now since this is a hot area. Do not touch anything with your fingers etc. Use the black probe on one end of the fuse and the other on the neutral contact of the connector. You should have common household voltage on there. After that you want to check the 2. connector and see if it has something listed a power STBY. If so you want to measure that as well. This will be DC voltage so set your meter at something like 10V or 50 V DC scale. To measure that place red probe on the Stby contact and one to ground. Any screw that mounts the power board to the chassis will work. With all that let us know what you get. It sounds like a lot and a bit complicated but it really is not. MAin issue is keep your fingers/hands of any contacts on the board. even after you disconnected or turned the TV off. The large capacitors on the power board will still be charged and you could get zapped. Not pleasant :-)

@oldturkey03 Appreciate you for taking the time to help me. Though I never used a multimeter before, is there a specific multimeter you would suggest or any would do?

Again thanks.

@gosu_d go inexpensive since you do not yet need a meter with all the bells and whistles. Walmart has inexpensive analog meters that work just fine for what we are trying to accomplish with your TV

I’m having that same problem now. Did you ever get yours fixed? If so how?
