iPhone won’t charge after replacing housing and screen
After 4 hours of working on my iPhone 8 Plus, I finally finished replacing the screen and housing but, I noticed that the charging connector was a only connecting to the logic board on one side, I got the other charging port that came with the housing and the same happened. How can I fix this without changing the whole logic board?

I'm a bit confused with the question, are you saying when you connect the Lightning port connector to the FPC connector on the board, it doesn't seat properly?

@takumaa99 Yes that’s what I mean, I’m scared because I don’t have much money, the money I spent on this iPhone and parts was the only money I had. My parents don’t support what I’m doing (fixing iPhones then selling them for profit). I’m 15 by the way and I don’t even know what I’m going to do

@Crystal
Take a look at the connector on the motherboard, does it look misshaped in any way? Also look at the Lightning Connector’s connector, does it look bent or curved?

@takumaa99 the lightning connector is bent a bit but I bent it back to straight. The connector on the motherboard seems to be good but the mesh around it to cushion it is removed (I did not do that)

If the connector doesn't sit strong and come lose because of missing the mesh as you said, take some piece adhesive tape to keep it on the motherboard connector so it will stay secure then put the metal bracket back to hold it in place.
(Sorry for my poor English, i hope you know what i mean and try to explaine to you.)
