Xbox One controler trigger doesn't work anymore

Hi, I dropped my One controller and the bracket holding the magnet inside the trigger was broken, I changed it and now when I press the trigger it doesn’t respond, I know the trigger work with a sensor and that sensor might be broken. This controller is a couple month old, I don’t want to throw it away and would really like to fix it, any suggestion ?
