It is an HP48G. It sat around for several years unused with the batteries still in. (dumb!)
I changed out the batteries, and checked voltage input from new ones. Would not turn on. Tried to reset at the button on rear. Would not turn on, but gave a momentary flash. Tried all button combinations and procedures listed (“ON”+”D" , and others) in the Quick Start Guide and the User's Guide. Nothing. Tried many times. Always the same result.
I cannot express how angry I am since my TI-Titanium93 and my TI-84 Plus have both been stolen from me. I am faced with the fact that I now must buy another graphic calc.
Are the calculator's battery terminals corroded at all and if not do they place enough tension on the batteries to ensure that there is a good electrical connection?

Hi,
What is the make and model number of the calculator?
Have you checked that the batteries are OK?
