Recentering joystick after replacement

I’ve had a sticking issue on my DS4 controller (oryginal CUH-ZCT2E), after replacing the joystick it’s reading off center (I’m using it only on my PC with DS4Windows software that doesn’t allow to recenter the sticks).

I’ve read about reseting the controller and holding R3, L3 for 30 seconds but nothing worked for me so far.

I saw somewhere where someone did solder some resistors to recenter the sticks is that possible? Is there any other way that would be easier?

If not, I’m thinking about soldering trimmer pots, centring the sticks, desoldering the pots and measure them, then add a similar in value SMD resistor but I’m not sure where to solder the potentiometer/resistors to calibrate the sticks if that’s possible (between pins 1-3? 1-2? 2-3?)
