Stuck in Recovery Mode & Unrecognizable To Computer
So, it began with a repair for a bad lightning connector that would only charge by bending the cord at the connector in weird positions. After reassembling everything, I noticed that, though the phone would now charge, it would only charge while off. I later found out that I could get it to charge while on as well, if I would start up the charge while off, turn it on as it was still charging, and kept it from sleeping (because if it slept, the charge would then stop or if I disconnected it from charging).
Thinking it was a faulty lightning connector, I replaced it with yet another one, and ran into the same issue I experienced after the first repair. (What could have been causing this? Some notes to add to better help with diagnosing the problem is that it not only did this in the wall with 5W and 12W power adapters, but on the computer as well. The only adapter that charged the phone normally, whether it was on or off was the 30W USB-C adapter.)
Moving forward, after the second repair, I decided to update and restore my phone. Bad idea, it seems, because after the software extraction step, the screen went blank and the recovery screen appeared. Now, my computer will not even recognize it at all, and I have tried 3 different laptops. I have it connected to the laptop I am on now, and it just loops from the apple screen to the recovery screen.
Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong? I have tried so many things: different computers, resetting, disconnecting front camera and display, etc. Any und all help welcomed.
I thank God for your reply und help,
