DS won't take a charge, even after a battery replacement

Howdy Folks,

I recently wanted to relive my childhood with my DS. A couple of days ago it charged normally. But yesterday the DS won’t charge. The DS powers on normally and it still works but it won’t charge. Also when i plug it in there is no orange light at all. I already tried to replace the charger and battery but still the problem persists. Anyone have a idea how to solve this problem?
