Very slow after trackpad install. Trackpad not working or clicking.

I replaced the battery on an A1708 macbook pro. Afterwards I figured out how I ruined the trackpad while removing the battery adhesive. At first I thought I only damaged the cable. But I scraped off smd components from the trackpad.

Because I suddenly had to order a new trackpad, I put everything together without the cable attached so at least you can work with it with an external keyboard and mouse.

When starting, everything is extremely slow when logging in. Vent is on 100%. Top bar remains transparent.

When I got the trackpad I installed everything the way it should be. I did not put everything completely together. I wanted to test it's function first. The trackpad mouse worked, keyboard worked. The mouse click however did not work. I removed the adhesive of the cable and stuck it to the battery. Put everything back together.

Now I hoped everything magically would turn normal. But alas.. the keyboard works but now the mouse does not work. Also macOS is still extremely slow to the point you cannot work with it.

What happened? And how can I fix it.
