Replaced battery-it won't turn on after shutOff

Good Day Everyone

I’ve just replaced the battery with a kit, work was fine. I turned it on performed some tasks and turned it off. I made an SMC reset and it won’t turn on, not even fans after powersupply connected. I found a temporary solution disconnecting and reconnecting the battery plug (2 to 3 mins between those steps). Then after plugging the magsafe (light is functioning properly) fans spins and it boots.

At the present I’m performing calibration to see if changes.

Any suggestion? previous experience?

@Alessio Cazzaniga - Leave it charging for a good 14hrs, then take another snapshot posting it a well. Lets see what it does.

Well, your battery and the charging logic is just fine!

So we need to run diagnostics as you have a different issue. You likely damaged something in the process.

Restart your system and press the D key to enter, let us know if you get any errors.

seems that the power button is not working..

I tried to turn it off the hard way (keeping it pressed) but nothing happens.

Might be just that button damaged with some adhesive remover liquid leaks or can that be the SMC?

@flutur_8 - Likely the keyboard got damaged ;-{

@danj yep it seems so

diagnostics run fine.

Can that single button be fixed somehow or need to replace the keyboard?
