im replacing a wii dvd drive. just the drive nothing else. what will I need to completely fix it? i’m fairly new with this so i’m basically a noob.

do I need the optical drive sensors if I'm going to replace the DVD drive? or does the DVD drive come with one pre-built in?
@doclouis what do you mean the drive sensors? it has the laser for the drive in it if thats what you mean? or do you mean the sensor to pull the CD in? if so then it should be all apart of the DVD drive.
