No lights and no connectivity to ios 14.6

Two questions

1. My Bose Soundlink Color 2 seems to be temperamental with its lights - they sometimes work and sometimes don’t even after a reboot. Its a minor problem since the device is playing quite happily from my IOS devices. I have the latest version of the firmware.
2. Of my 3 ios devices (iphone and ipad) I updated 2 yesterday to IOS 14.6 and today they don’t connect to the Bose speaker. I tried the third device which is still on ios 14.5 and it connects and plays without any problems. I heard on national radio this morning that may people can no longer play through their bluetooth speakers. Is anyone else impacted?
