Try starting the phone in safe mode and check

If it works OK in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You will have to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to see if it works OK. When it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled, was the culprit. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed on the phone and was not pre-installed on the phone when you first got it.

If still no good try a factory restore. Go to Settings > general management > reset

Be aware that a factory restore will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will be reset to its last system updated condition. Back up the phone to the cloud or a computer, before performing the factory restore. If the phone has an account tied to it i.e. Samsung or Google you will need to know the account user name and password so that you can access the phone after it has been reset. This is because the FRP lock (factory reset protection) will have been enabled by the reset.

Once the phone has been reset check if it works OK. If it does you can restore the phone to what it was using the backup that you made earlier.
